California Quail at John Day
While traveling in eastern Oregon near John Day fossil beds, Anne spotted this california quail. I found the color and landscape intriguing so I decided to compose a painting and this was the result.

Huron River Swans
On a January afternoon, while hiking along Ann Arbor's Huron river, I came across these swans. The air temperature was hovering near zero. Warm reflections from the trees made for a fun play of color.

Pont de Cherville
This is a painting of a very old bridge in southern France where my brother-in-law lived for a couple of years. What a lovely place to be!
